Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 lbs Chicken wings (about 10)
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • ½ tsbp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ jalapeno, diced
  • ½ onion, diced

Instructions

1. Wash and dry the chicken wings with a paper towel. 2. Season with salt and pepper. 3. In a large resealable bag; combine the chicken wings, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, ground red pepper, brown sugar, jalapeno, and onion. Seal the bag, toss until all the chicken is coated, and let marinade in the fridge over night or at least for two hours before cooking. 4. Prepare grill for medium heat. Once grill is heated, remove the wings from the bag and grill covered for 20 minutes until golden brown and caramelized. Make sure to turn the wings occasionally for an even cook and to avoid burning the chicken.
