Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tbsp Canola Oil, to grease the Idli molds.
  • 2 Cup Semolina, also known as Rava / Sooji
  • 4 tbsp Yogurt

Instructions

1. mix dry ingredients well in a mixing bowl 2. Add water and yogurt to the mix and stir till smooth paste is formed 3. Add Eno / Baking soda to the paste and stir 4. Grease idli maker tray well with oil 5. add small quantity of mix to each block in the idli tray, and place the tray in the steamer for 5-7 minutes, cover the steamer and once time is up, take it out and perform the toothpick test 6. scrape the idli from the tray blocks and serve hot with sambhar and chutney
