15-Minute Chinese Fried Rice

Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Molasses, not black strap
- 6 large Eggs, beaten
- 4 1/2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1 large Onion, diced
- 2 10 ounce bags Frozen Long Grain White Rice with Vegetables
- 1 bunch Green Onions, sliced thin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
- 3 tablespoon Soy Sauce, divided, more if desired
- 1 can Water Chestnuts, diced
Instructions
1. Slice the chicken into small pieces and set into a small bowl. 2. Combine the marinade ingredients and pour half of it over the chicken. 3. Mix until the chicken is well-coated. Set aside. 4. Place the shrimp into a separate small bowl. 5. Cover with the remaining marinade, stir to combine, and set aside. 6. Have the chicken, shrimp, chopped veggies, and measured ingredients ready. 7. In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. 8. Cook the shrimp until they are nearly cooked through. 9. Remove from the pan and set aside. 10. Add another 2 tablespoons of oil, if needed, to the pan and allow to heat up for a minute. 11. Cook the chicken until it is no longer pink. 12. Remove from the pan and set aside with the shrimp. 13. Add the remaining oil and heat it for another minute. 14. Add the chopped onion, remaining garlic, and ginger. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. 15. Put in the diced carrot and peas. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. 16. Push the onions, garlic, ginger, peas, and carrots to one side of the pan. 17. Pour in the eggs and scramble them. 18. Once they're done, mix them in with everything else. 19. Add the cooked rice, breaking it apart if it's stuck together. 20. Continue cooking, mixing frequently for about 5 minutes. 21. Pour soy sauce and oyster sauce over the rice. 22. Continue cooking and stir until the rice is evenly colored. 23. Add the cooked chicken and shrimp. Stir and cook until the meat is heated through. 24. Drizzle the sesame oil over the rice and stir to combine. 25. Salt and pepper to taste. 26. Remove from the heat. 27. Sprinkle with sliced green onions.
