Ingredients

  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • chocolate chips (optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • maple syrup (optional)
  • 1.33 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

1. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large measuring cup and set aside. 2. Whisk the eggs and milk in a small measuring cup. Then stir in the melted butter. 3. Now pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients in the large measuring cup and mix until everything is just combined – it should look a little lumpy. 4. Melt some butter in a pan over medium heat and pour your batter into the pan in batches. When bubbles form on the surface, flip the pancake and let it cook for another 1–2 min. until golden brown. Use more butter to prevent sticking or burning. Transfer to a plate and enjoy with butter and maple syrup.
